LAHORE: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted rain spells from Sunday evening as a fresh western disturbance is likely to affect upper parts of the country.
The Met Office has also warned about very hot and dry weather for the next two days.
According to details, low pressure area lies over Northern Balochistan with its trough extending south eastward. Continental air would prevail over most parts of the country during next few days. Cloudy weather with strong gusty winds is also likely in Karachi.
In the next 24 hours, mainly very hot and dry weather is expected over most parts of the country. Very hot weather conditions would continue over plain areas of Punjab, Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh (Sukkur, Larkana, Mirpurkhas, Shaheed Benazirabad divisions), Sibbi and Makran divisions.
However, light rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds is expected at isolated places in FATA, Peshawar, Kohat, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Lahore and Islamabad on Saturday.
