LAHORE – Lahore High Court Chief Justice Ijazul Ahsan sought report from the federal government and Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) on petition seeking ban on TV plays made on crime stories.
Petitioner said that the TV channels were showing plays based on crime stories which had negative effect on society. He said that it was making the youth sick and maniac. He sought complete ban on showing such TV plays to safe the society.
